In 2024, AmaWaterways becomes the first major river cruise line to sail the beautiful Magdalena River and explore Colombia aboard the newly designed AmaMagdalena ship. She is a 60-passenger river cruise ship with the luxury of space and breathtaking views of the Caribbean region.

AmaMagdalena joins the AmaWaterways opulence river cruise fleet in 2024. Her maiden voyage should start on November 9, 2024, with an impressive 7-night "Wonders of Colombia" itinerary that allows you to add three nights in Meddelin/two nights in Cartagena pre-cruise, and/or three nights in Panama post-cruise for an extra fee. She also offers a 7-night "Magic of Colombia" itinerary with three nights in Meddelin pre-cruise and/or three nights in Panama post-cruise for an additional fee beginning November 16, 2024.
