An Updated Take on Traditional Design

Constructed with new interior features in mind, none of ms Nieuw Statendam’s public spaces highlight this more so than the updated central atrium. Located in the heart of the ship and spanning across three levels, this space echoes the instrumental influences with airy, stainless steel sculptures. Its key focus is motivating inspiration behind the new, Pinnacle Class design: visual interaction. Guests will find the visuals changing before their eyes as they move through the atrium, capped by the ceiling which functions as a backdrop for subtle, high-definition projects: everything from wispy clouds or soothing reflections of water and light during the day, to constellations of the night sky.
