Sometimes called the Crown Jewel of Siem Reap, Angkor Watt is a must-do before or after any cruise from Siem Reap. This incredible temple complex is so huge that it is easily a half-day trip, if not a full-day excursion. This attraction can get rather crowded by mid-day, so you might opt to get up just before dawn to enjoy it during a beautiful sunrise. You may consider booking a guided tour, as this temple is so enormous that it is easy to get lost and miss out on some of its best features. ♦ Kandal Village

While visiting Siem Reap’s 15th century French Quarter, hop on a three-wheeled taxi and ride into Kandal Village, where you can explore a couple of charming boutiques with many wonderful souvenirs to browse.
