Carnival Dream
Watch all of your vacationing dreams come true aboard Carnival Dream, the first of Carnival Cruise Line's Dream-class ships, which offers 6- through 14-day voyages to the Eastern & Western Caribbean departing year-round from Texas. Also, enjoy limited-series 14-day Panama Canal adventures aboard this cruise ship.
Carnival Dream cruises offer a fun and free onboard atmosphere, with plenty of fun and activities for guests of all ages. This revolutionary and family-friendly Fun Shipâ„¢ has a wide variety of dining options, comfortable accommodations, and seemingly endless options for onboard entertainment, making it an excellent cruise ship for everyone.
Comfortable Accommodations
Carnival Dream has a great variety of comfortable accommodations onboard, ranging from interior, ocean view and balcony staterooms to Junior Suites, Ocean Suites and huge Grand Suites that feature VIP check-in, priority Main Dining Room time assignment, whirlpool bathtubs, balconies, and much more.
Carnival Dream was the first ship in Carnival’s fleet to debut Cove Balcony staterooms, featuring a private enclosed balcony (with a large picture window view), located much lower on the ship than a typical balcony would be found, bringing you as close as possible to the ship’s wake. Another pioneer type of accommodations for Carnival, first available aboard Carnival Dream, was Cloud 9 Spa category. Staying in such accommodations, guests benefit from private access to the spa, two fitness classes per individual (for up to 2 guests per room), unlimited use of Thermal Suites & Hydrotherapy Pool, priority in booking spa appointments, exclusive discounts on treatments during port days, and more. Cloud 9 Spa staterooms are available as an interior, ocean view, balcony, or suite.
Onboard Entertainment
You’ll never find yourself short of something awesome to do during your Carnival Dream cruise. Some of the more popular public spaces aboard this ship are Carnival WaterWorks (an aqua park with multiple waterslides and a splash park), Carnival Seaside Theater, Cloud 9 Spa, a large casino, and a fabulous youth program (for children ages 2 through 17).
You can also relax in multiple dance clubs, show lounges, and bars with a drink and live entertainment. When sailing onboard Carnival Dream, you can raise a toast at the RedFrog Rum Bar or BlueIguana Tequila Bar, or satisfy your sweet tooth at Cherry On Top (featuring a well-stocked assortment of candy and custom ice cream bar). Following refurbishments in 2021 and 2022 that added routine hotel maintenance and cosmetic enhancements, new venues also include a Non-Smoking Casino and Bar.

Ship Highlights
Carnival WaterWorks
One of the first things you might notice when seeing Carnival Dream is the massive waterslides located towards the top of the ship. A signature space onboard many Carnival cruise ships has been taken to an even better level aboard their Dream-class ships. While its main highlight is the giant Twister Waterslide, where you can slip and veer your way through hundreds of feet of winding curves and zig-zagging turns, there is also a bowl slide, racing slides, a spray park for younger children, and the super-soaking PowerDrencher which is sure to cool you off in no time. With colorful twisting waterslides, stationary water toys, and more, it’s a fun-filled time for guests of all ages.
Carnival’s Seaside Movie Theater
While enjoying Carnival Dream cruise, check out a movie, live sporting event, or concert on a giant 12’ x 22’ LED screen, with a 70,000-watt sound system! It’s located outdoors, right by the Waves Lido Pool, so you can even watch while you swim. At night, this screen transforms into Dive-In Movies, where you can relax on the outdoor loungers, grab some popcorn (and maybe a drink), and snuggle under the stars as you watch popular films.
The Chef’s Art Steakhouse
The Chef’s Art Steakhouse is the specialty restaurant onboard Carnival Dream, serving up premium steaks, succulent seafood, and other similar gourmet entrees that you can pair perfectly with just the right glass of wine. This restaurant requires a cover charge per guest, but it’s worth trying at least once (although you might come back a few times after experiencing what it’s all about).
Caliente Dance Club
One of Carnival Dream’s evening hot spots is definitely their dance club, Caliente. Playing a wide range of music late into the night, and featuring a large dance floor and bar, this is a place you wouldn’t want to miss out on if you’re looking to have a good time while on your Carnival Dream cruise.
Cloud 9 Spa
This 40,000-square-foot, two-deck spa is Carnival Dream’s ultimate escape (and is the largest spa ever featured onboard a Carnival cruise ship). Among the many treatments and amenities available at Cloud 9 Spa are a Thalassotherapy pool, thermal suites, VIP whirlpool treatment rooms, three saunas, massage rooms, and a Medi-Spa. Also located in this area of the ship is a state-of-the-art fitness center, offering various exercise equipment and classes (such as yoga and Pilates), and a hair and nail salon, offering services for both women and men.
Serenity
Pamper yourself the way you deserve! A tranquil, adults-only retreat aboard Carnival Dream, Serenity is a great place to spend some time if you’re looking to just relax during your cruise. You can kick back on one of the large lounge chairs, enjoy reading a book while taking in the fresh sea breeze, daydream in a comfortable swinging hammock, or grab your favorite drink from the bar. It’s a great area to get away with your partner or visit to simply relax or do nothing.
Jackpot Casino
Does Carnival Dream have a casino? Yes! Feeling lucky? Try your luck at Carnival Dream’s Vegas-style casino. Among the many games are blackjack, roulette, poker, and slot machines.
The Lanai
Take a relaxing walk along this half-mile promenade, enjoying amazing views along the way. Perhaps you’d like to take a dip in one of Carnival Dream’s Jacuzzis that are located on the outer edge of the deck, giving a fantastic view to its occupants!
Your ticket to relaxation and rejuvenation awaits, as do big savings and exclusive offers. Call us now - we’re ready to assist you today!

It is usually the least expensive fare. Interior staterooms do not have a window, so it’s a great choice for those who are looking for a great night’s sleep (this is an especially good choice for quickly overcoming jet lag if you’re traveling in a different time zone). Depending on where your Interior stateroom is located, you’ll generally feel less movement (great for preventing seasickness). Finally, with the least amount of living space, you’ll feel more motivated to spend as much time as you can exploring the ship and getting the most valuable experience for your money.
