All of the ships in the Cunard fleet are state-of-the-art, luxurious ocean liners. All three ships were refurbished between 2016 and 2017, so you can expect a comfortable and contemporary cruising experience.
Cunard Line features a nice variety of enrichment programs on every single one of their cruises. Among the highlights of this program is Cunard Insights, featuring stimulating lectures by leading authors and experts on many topics. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), the most famous classical acting school in the United Kingdom, features a fantastic theatre program on select Cunard cruises. In addition to their workshops, RADA will still be presenting their matinee program of Shakespeare excerpts and three acting workshops on each Transatlantic Crossing. A new ship will join Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth as the fourth member of the fleet in 2022. The first new Cunard ship in 12 years, it will gross 113,000 tons and accommodate up to 3,000 guests. In June 2016, Cunard transformed Queen Mary 2’s Winter Garden into a refreshed and versatile new venue, the Carinthia Lounge, during her multimillion dollar refit spanning May 27, 2016 to June 21, 2016. The Carinthia Lounge features a dedicated patisserie, an afternoon tea service and an optional special Veuve Cliquot Champagne Afternoon Tea experience. In the evening, guests will also be able to enjoy premium wines and relaxed entertainment.
