The Very Important Fun Person Club (VIFP Club for short) is the cruise club, or past passenger loyalty program, of Carnival Cruise Line. By booking a Carnival cruise with us, we are able to honor all Past Guest benefits that Carnival offers you, plus we can give you added amenities that they won't...call us for details! If you'd like to take advantage of Past Guest benefits you must book with us over the phone and (prior to pricing anything out) mention to the reservations agent that you are a Past Guest of Carnival Cruises. This will ensure that you will get the best Carnival cruise deal possible!

There are 5 levels in the VIFP Club: Blue - Red - Gold - Platinum - Diamond. See below for specific details about this program.

Platinum Member (Benefits start at 75 points)
All Gold member benefits, plus:
• "Chocolate Delight" delivered to stateroom on 5+ night sailings
• Priority check-in and boarding
• Unique, collectible ship- and year- specific pin for every sailing
• Priority Spa reservations
• Priority tender boarding (ship to shore only)
• Buy one get one free tournament entry at the Casino (Blackjack or Slot only)
• Complimentary Arcade credits (valued at $5; for guests under 18 only)
• Carnival logo gift on every sailing

Diamond Member (Benefits start at 200 points)
All Platinum member benefits, plus:
• Guaranteed Main Dining Room and Specialty Restaurant reservations
• Unlimited Complimentary Wash & Fold service
• Special invitation from the Captain on each sailing
• One-time free cabin upgrade OR 3rd and 4th guests sail free
• One-time donation on behalf of guest to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®
• One-time complimentary meal for 2 at Specialty Restaurant of choice
• VIFP Club Luggage Tag set (received upon entry in Diamond level, one time only)

How To Earn Points
Earning points in the Very Important Fun Person Club is quite easy! All you have to do is cruise. For every day you spend on a Carnival cruise ship, you get one VIFP point. That's it, no complex math or fare charts to consult. The more you cruise the more points you earn. Whether you like two week long extended getaways or quick weekend trips, you will still earn one point for every day spent on the ship.

Beginning June 2026: Existing Carnival VIFP Club loyalty program will transition to a new program on June 1, 2026, called Carnival Rewards. Starting in June 2026, every guest’s existing VIFP member number will be called ‘Carnival Guest Number.’ And to fully participate in Carnival Rewards, guests must join by “opting-into” the program by accepting the new program’s terms and conditions, in accordance with applicable law.

Diamond Status: Carnival will be permanently extending Diamond level status to all guests who have earned it by May 31, 2026.

Platinum Status: For all guests who are Platinum level as of May 31, 2026, along with extending Platinum status through May 31, 2028, 10,000 status qualifying stars will also be deposited into Platinum guests' new Carnival Rewards account when the program launches next year. That provides a minimum of Gold status in the subsequent June 2028 to May 2030 cycle and provides a boost towards maintaining Platinum status or earning Diamond status. Additionally, this 10,000 status qualifying stars deposit will be a bi-annual gesture at the start of each new two-year earning cycle, providing Gold status and a nice head start each period towards Platinum and Diamond status. This deposit is limited to existing Platinum VIFP guests as of May 31, 2026.

* Guests Under Age 18: U.S. privacy laws restrict children under 18 from being enrolled in programs like Carnival Rewards, but Carnival confirmed that children will be able to enjoy the same status as their parent or adult that is designated as their responsible party on the booking for that sailing. Their cruise fare and spending will also contribute to the responsible party's Carnival Rewards account. Furthermore, for young cruisers who have achieved Diamond or Platinum status by May 31, 2026, their status will be kept on file and they'll be invited to opt-in to Carnival Rewards with their May 31, 2026 earned status once they turn 18. At that time, they will also be provided the same Diamond permanent status or bi-annual status 'boost' offered to our Platinum guests as outlined above.
** All existing VIFP Milestone awards earned through May 2026 will be fully honored through May 2030. In addition, Carnival Rewards will include an enhanced Carnival Rewards Milestones recognition program that will be based on days sailed (rather than number of cruises taken), and offering more benefits and rewards for each milestone achieved.
