When Was Celebrity Summit Last Refurbished?

As a part of a 2012 refurbishment, Celebrity Summit was “Solsticized,” having received a variety of features based on Celebrity’s younger Solstice-class ships. Among the enhancements were the addition of spa-inspired AquaClass staterooms, specialty restaurants Qsine and Blu, the ice-topped Martini Bar, Cellar Masters (a wine bar featuring state-of-the-art Enomatic® wine dispensers), and Celebrity iLounge SM. Celebrity Summit emerged from dry dock again in March 2016, with a number of updates for the upcoming 2016 summer season. These included a new “Rooftop Terrace” venue, renovations to the ship’s Penthouse and Royal Suites, and the addition of one of Celebrity’s signature dining venues, Tuscan Grille, as well as a refresh of the Solarium and a contemporary, modern update for the casino.

Celebrity Summit Restaurants

Celebrity Summit has a superior selection of dining venues, all of which offer meticulously crafted, mouthwatering dishes that will please all kinds of palates.

• The two-story formal main dining room, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, offers panoramic views and a multi-course menu, mixed with classic and modern options that change on a nightly basis. For this venue, you can choose between assigned or open (Celebrity Select) dining.
• A more casual option is the Oceanview Café, where you will discover an extensive buffet, also with breathtaking views and a wide selection of international and classic favorites, including an ice cream bar.
• If you find yourself hungry by the poolside, there’s also the Pool Grill, where you can get classics such as burgers, fries and hot dogs, without having to worry about changing out of your swim suit.
• Two specialty venues, Blu and Luminae, are reserved only for guests staying in AquaClass staterooms or suite-class staterooms, respectively. Blu is a health-conscious themed restaurant while Luminae features a more exotic and inventive dinner menu not found elsewhere on the ship. As always, room service is a convenient option that’s available 24-hours a day to all guests.

Celebrity’s Summit collection of onboard entertainment and activities give off an “endless entertainment” vibe. The two venues that stand out from the crowd are the three-story Celebrity Theater, which hosts a different live performance each night, and the newly-updated Fortunes Casino, which features slot machines, electronic poker, table games, and a bar. Ship Highlights

Canyon Ranch SpaClub

How does a soothing massage sound to you? If you’d like to get some true rejuvenation and relaxation while on a Celebrity Summit cruise, you should definitely consider treating yourself to a treatment at the ship’s luxurious spa, Canyon Ranch SpaClub. This full-service venue offers treatments such as massages, facials, tooth-whitening, acupuncture and Medi-Spa cosmetic services such as BOTOX®. One of the spa’s highlights is the Persian Garden, a special area that has extra-relaxing saunas with tropical rain shower jets, aromatherapy-infused steam rooms, and a heated relaxation lounge. While access to this area is free if you are an AquaClass guest, guests in other accommodations can purchase passes. Celebrity’s Tuscan Grille

Enjoy the newest addition to Celebrity Summit’s culinary repertoire: an Italian steakhouse with a nouveau twist. Tuscan Grille takes the traditional style and artisanal flair of Italy, adds contemporary influences, and serves the cuisine in abundance. Some of the types of cuisine you can get here include dry-age steaks, antipasti boards, gnocchi, mussels, scallops and shrimp, snapper or filet mignon. There is a per person cover charge to dine at this optional venue, which is open for both lunch and dinner.

Qsine

Aside from the wonderful dining options that are included in the price of a Celebrity Summit cruise, this is another one of the ship’s optional specialty restaurants. Qsine is a one-of-a-kind venue, with artfully presented food (and décor), as well as a menu that’s creatively presented on an iPad®. The portions of food served in this venue are large and best for sharing, making this restaurant an excellent choice for group dining. There is a per person cover charge to dine at this venue.

Blu

This specialty restaurant is exclusively for AquaClass guests aboard Celebrity Summit. Blu features a lighter take on favorite dishes, with fresh, crispy flavors served in a sophisticated atmosphere with hues and white and blue. This venue is open for breakfast and dinner.

Celebrity iLounge

This is Celebrity’s version of an internet café, and is the first authorized Apple® Reseller at Sea. Workstations feature MacBook Pro® laptops and iMac® desktops, where you can take a class, check your email, surf the web or print a boarding pass for your flight home.
