When Was Celebrity Summit Last Refurbished?

As a part of the 2019 Celebrity Revolution refurbishment, Celebrity Summit became more modern and stylish, offering guests refreshed suites and staterooms, eXhale bedding with luxury Cashmere mattresses, upgraded bathrooms with modern fixtures, a new open-air hideaway area that is exclusive to suite guests (The Retreat Sundeck), and more.

Preparing for the 2016 summer season, the cruise ship got a new “Rooftop Terrace” venue, renovations to the Penthouse and Royal Suites, and the addition of one of Celebrity’s signature dining venues, Tuscan Grille, as well as a refresh of the Solarium and a contemporary, modern update for the casino. During the 2012 refurbishment upgrades, the ship received various new features based on Celebrity’s younger Solstice-class ships. Among those enhancements were the addition of spa-inspired AquaClass staterooms, specialty restaurants Qsine and Blu, the ice-topped Martini Bar, Cellar Masters (a wine bar featuring state-of-the-art Enomatic® wine dispensers), and Celebrity iLounge SM.

Restaurants

The Retreat

The Spa

Some types of cuisine you can get here include delicious dry-aged steaks, antipasti boards, gnocchi, mussels, scallops and shrimp, snapper, and filet mignon. There is a per-person cover charge to dine at this optional venue, which is open for both lunch and dinner.

Qsine

Aside from the wonderful dining options included in the price of a Celebrity Summit cruise, this is another ship’s optional specialty restaurant. Qsine is a one-of-a-kind venue with artfully presented food and décor as well as a menu that’s creatively offered on an iPad®. The portions of food served in this venue are large and best for sharing, making this restaurant an excellent choice for group dining. There is a per-person cover charge to dine at this venue.

Blu

This specialty restaurant is exclusively for AquaClass guests aboard Celebrity Summit. Blu features a lighter take on favorite dishes, with fresh, crispy flavors served in a sophisticated atmosphere with hues and white and blue. This venue is open for breakfast and dinner.

iLounge

This is Celebrity’s version of an internet café, and is the first authorized Apple® Reseller at Sea. Workstations feature MacBook Pro® laptops and iMac® desktops, where you can take a class, check your email, surf the web, or print a boarding pass for your flight home.
