Carnival Dream Accommodations

Carnival Dream has a great variety of cozy accommodations onboard, from interior, ocean view and balcony staterooms, to Junior Suites, Ocean Suites and huge Grand Suites that feature VIP check-in, whirlpool bathtubs, and balconies. Carnival Dream was the first ship in Carnival’s fleet to debut Cove Balcony staterooms. These balcony staterooms feature a private enclosed balcony (with a large picture window view), located much lower on the ship than a typical balcony would be found, bringing you as close as possible to the ship’s wake. Another pioneer type of accommodations for Carnival, first available aboard Carnival Dream, were Cloud 9 Spa staterooms. Staying in such accommodations, you will benefit from private access to the spa, two classes per individual (for up to 2 guests per room), and priority in booking spa appointments. Cloud 9 Spa staterooms are available as an interior, ocean view, balcony or suite.

Carnival Dream Features

You’ll never find yourself short of something awesome to do while sailing aboard Carnival Dream. Some of the more popular public spaces aboard Carnival Dream are Carnival WaterWorks (an aqua park with multiple waterslides and a splash park), Carnival Seaside Theater, Cloud 9, a large casino and a fabulous youth program (for children ages 2 through 17). There are also multiple dance clubs, show lounges, and bars where you can relax, have a drink, and enjoy the live entertainment. Ship Highlights

Carnival WaterWorks

One of the first things you might notice when seeing Carnival Dream is the massive waterslides located towards the top of the ship. A signature space onboard many Carnival cruise ships has been taken to an even better level aboard their Dream-class ships, including Carnival Dream. While its main highlight is the giant Twister Waterslide, where you can slip and veer your way through hundreds of feet of winding curves and zig-zagging turns, there is also a bowl slide, racing slides, a spray park for younger children, and the super-soaking PowerDrencher which is sure to cool you off in no time. With colorful twisting waterslides, stationary water toys, and more, it’s a fun-filled time for guests of all ages.

Carnival’s Seaside Movie Theater

Check out a movie, live sporting event or concert on this giant 12’ x 22’ LED screen, with a 70,000-watt sound system! It’s located outdoors, right by the Waves Lido Pool, so you can even watch while you swim. At night, this screen transform into Dive-In Movies, where you can relax on the outdoor loungers, grab some popcorn (and maybe a drink) and snuggle under the stars as you watch popular films.

The Chef’s Art Steakhouse

The Chef’s Art Steakhouse is the specialty restaurant onboard Carnival Dream, serving up premium steaks, succulent seafood, and other similar gourmet entrees that you can pair perfectly with just the right glass of wine. This restaurant requires a cover charge per guest, but it’s worth trying at least once (although you might come back a few times after experiencing what it’s all about).

Caliente Dance Club

One of Carnival Dream’s evening hot spots is definitely their dance club, Caliente. Playing a wide range of music late into the night, and featuring a large dance floor and bar, this is a place you wouldn’t want to miss out on if you’re looking to have a good time while on your Carnival Dream cruise.

Cloud 9 Spa

This 40,000-square-foot, two-deck spa is Carnival Dream’s ultimate escape (and is the largest spa ever featured onboard a Carnival cruise ship). Among the many treatments and amenities available at Cloud 9 Spa are a Thalassotherapy pool, thermal suites, VIP whirlpool treatment rooms, three saunas, and a Media-Spa. Also located in this area of the ship is a state-of-the-art fitness center, offering various exercise equipment and classes (such as yoga and Pilates) and a hair and nail salon, offering services for both women and men.

Serenity

Pamper yourself the way you deserve! A tranquil, adults-only retreat aboard Carnival Dream, Serenity is a great place to spend some time if you’re looking to just relax during your cruise.
