Carnival WaterWorks

Splash your afternoon away at Carnival WaterWorks, the onboard water park aboard Carnival Sunshine, which features the four-deck high (334' long) Twister Waterslide that shoots you through a daring curve that extends over the edge of the ship, sure to captivate thrill-seekers. This ship is also the first with a waterpark to feature the 235’-long Speedway Splash, two huge racing slides with special lighting effects, and a scoreboard. Within this area, this is also a large spray park and mini racing slides for the younger ones, as well as the 300-gallon PowerDrencher that is waiting to get you soaked. Carnival WaterWorks is one of the most popular areas on the ship and is perfect for guests of all ages.

Cloud 9 Spa

Cloud 9 Spa is a tranquil and elegant venue, where you can truly relax onboard Carnival Sunshine. The ship’s spa area includes a fully-equipped Fitness Center with Life Fitness equipment and fitness classes available, as well as a hair and nail salon. The spa features two saunas, massage rooms, and thermal suites with steam and dry heat chambers in addition to a Medi-Spa and acupuncture area. Here, you can enjoy a variety of European-style spa treatments and services, including hot stone massages, facials, acupuncture, body wraps, tooth whitening, steam rooms, water therapies, manicures and pedicures.

Serenity Adult-Only Retreat

Serenity is an adult-only outdoor retreat area, available to guests 21 and older. This area is the largest of all of the Carnival Cruise Line ships and the only one to feature a waterfall. Here, you can discover private cabanas and large comfortable loungers to relax in the sun or, if you prefer, the shade. There is also a pool and whirlpool where you can spend the day away while listening to mellow music. Beverage service is also available.

Kid Friendly Programs

Carnival Sunshine has three fantastic youth programs, making for a very family-friendly environment. The programs are split by age group and consist of Camp Ocean (2 to 11 years), Circle “C” (12 to 14 years), and Club O2 (15 to 17 years). Camp Ocean offers tons of activities for children in three different age groups: 2 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 9 to 11 years. Camp Ocean Night Owls gives parents the opportunity to enjoy themselves up until 1 am, while their kids are having their own fun. Circle “C” includes activities such as dance parties, games, and outdoor movies. Club O2 is a great place for older teens to hang out and watch movies, play sports and video games, join karaoke sessions, and have pool parties.
