Aside from items of a personal nature or special arrangements, all standard cruise costs are included in the pricing of each Lindblad expedition, including all meals and non-alcoholic beverages (alcoholic beverages are included on select ships), all excursions, Zodiac and kayak expeditions, snorkeling, sightseeing and entrance fees, hotels and meals on shore (as indicated in itinerary), and transfers to and from group flights.

Fine Food and Accommodations

While on a Lindblad expedition, you can expect to be served expertly prepared meals, often reflecting the regional cuisine of the area in which your ship is cruising. All ships feature an open-seating format, allowing you to dine wherever and with whomever you desire. What’s New for Lindblad Expeditions?

Lindblad Expeditions announced a new polar expedition ship, National Geographic Endurance, in March 2018, due to launch in 2020. The ship’s Polar Class 5 rating will allow for traveling polar environments during any time of the year, vastly enhancing Lindblad’s reach. This 126-guest expedition ship will feature a specially-designed bow  Kayaking is just one of the many ways you can actively explore the region you’re visiting when you sail with <em>Lindblad Expeditions!</em>  that will maximize fuel efficiency so that it can operate extensively in remote destinations and will be fitted with zero-speed stabilizers to ensure a comfortable voyage. 75% of its staterooms will feature balconies and there will be multiple points throughout the ship designed for optimal observation, plus an outdoor barbecue area.

National Geographic Orion set course for Europe following her Antarctic season in early 2016. These unique voyages travel to Portugal, Spain, France, England, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, the Baltic Republics and Scandinavia. Onboard, Lindblad has staffed their ship with an extraordinary team from a diverse scope of expertise: special speakers will be drawn from the top tiers of journalism, science and world affairs as part of the “Global Perspectives Speakers” program, and each voyage will feature a National Geographic photographer.

On May 8, 2014, Lindblad’s National Geographic Explorer made history by being the first passenger vessel to call at the medieval port of Harlingen, in the Netherlands. Captain Ben Lyons was presented with a port of call placard to commemorate the first visit, and local news crews covered the event.
