  • Adults can enjoy exclusive adult-only areas, such as the relaxing Solarium and Casino Royale, plus the theater, the mall-like Royal Promenade, Vitality Spa and Fitness Center, and the many upgraded bars and lounges (Vintages wine bar, Schooner piano bar, Boleros, the English pub, and Diamond Club).
  • While adults are off having their own fun, kids  Adults can test their luck in the onboard casino, which features games such as poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, slots, and much more! can meet, play, and learn at Adventure Ocean kids club and The Living Room teens club. Recently added to Independence of the Seas in 2018, this British-style The new Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade is a must-visit for families.  specialty seafood venue is certain to hook you with a heaping portion of deep-fried deliciousness. Classic fish and chips, Chip Butty sandwiches, fried calamari, and even deep-fried chocolate bars are on the menu! Located near the main pool deck, this is a great place for grabbing a quick lunch with family and friends.

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade

If your “goal” is to make everyone in your party happy, plan to spend at least one evening here! Also added to Independence of the Seas during its 2018 multi-million-dollar makeover, this sports bar/arcade is the best way for families to eat and play together all in one place. Sports fans’ eyes will be glued to one of the 30 huge TVs and finger-food-fanatics will simply love the menu of sliders, wings, nachos, potato skins, and other classic sports bar fare. The Perfect Storm consists of two enclosed side-by-side racer slides where you can make a splash at the finish line. Unlimited rides mean you can spend all afternoon shooting down the dips and drops. Splashaway Bay is a gallon of fun for youngest guests. For those not old enough to go down the Perfect Storm slides, little kids can enjoy mini-waterslides of their own, plus fountains, shallow pools, water cannons (perfect for getting Mom or Dad!) and a crowd-pleasing favorite – a large tipping bucket that drenches everyone at once!
