About Swan Hellenic

Swan Hellenic's story starts in the 1950s as Swans Tour Agency. Back then, it was a small British company operated by a father and son who came up with one-of-a-kind tour ideas, inviting guest lecturers and taking cruisers to unusual destinations they could explore firsthand. Such a combination of intriguing adventures with real experts and a refined onboard experience became the key feature of The Swan Hellenic brand.

Swan Hellenic cruises have a long history of operations. Swans Tour Agency amazed tourists with exclusive itineraries till 1983. Then the brand was a subsidiary of P&O and Carnival from 1983 to 2007. In 2007, it tried to get its first revival as a part of All Leisure Holidays Group (ALG). Ten years later, it was acquired by G Adventures. In 2020, the newly revived brand Swan Hellenic returns as an owner-operated cruise line promising a new fleet of expedition ships, unforgettable experiences, and luxury to travelers and focusing on exploring different cultures worldwide.

The Swan Hellenic fleet consists of the new luxury expedition ships built by Helsinki Shipyard in Hietalahti:

• SH Minerva was the first ship in the line, debuting in 2021 (she doesn't operate these days);
• SH Vega joined the fleet in 2022;
• SH Diana arrived in 2023.
