Viking Sun is the fourth vessel of Viking Ocean Cruises, a new ocean cruise line created by the well-known Viking River Cruises. The Kitchen Table

This is the only dining venue that comes with an additional fee tacked on, but it’s more than just a dinner – it’s an experience. Those signed up for the Kitchen Table get to participate in a three-part process. First, you will go with the chef on a shopping trip in port to purchase fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. Next, everyone gathers together in a kitchen-like venue to assist in preparing the meal with the purchased ingredients before enjoying the meal together with handpicked wine pairings. The apron that you wear serves as a take-home souvenir so you can always remember this special experience.

The LivNordic Spa

If you’re a spa-lover, wait until you experience this Nordic-inspired haven! A unique feature of Viking Sun’s spa is that anyone can use the thermal suite, free of charge. Within the thermal suite, you will discover a balance of “hot and cold” therapies, such as a heated pool, a snow room, a whirlpool, and a steam room.
