Brindisi is an ancient port city located on the eastern coast of Italy. Consisting mostly of sandy beaches, historic buildings, and churches, this city is a history lover’s dream! Take a step back through time before stepping back into vacation mode at one of the many beautiful beaches. Since Brindisi is a rather small port city compared to others, you will probably only need about a day to discover everything it has to offer. The good news is that many attractions are within walking distance of each other, thus eliminating the need to worry about arranging transportation once you arrive (though the beaches are a ways out of the city center). You are certain to be captivated by this quaint city’s historic charm.
A great time to visit Brindisi is during the spring and summer (April through November), as that it when the weather is the warmest.

Not only is it one of the most beautiful churches, but it is also located in close proximity to other landmarks (such as the Roman Columns). Another magnificent church worth a look is Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli, a 17th-century structure that features a few paintings, artifacts, and chapels. There is also Chiesa di San Paolo eremita, Eglise du Christ (featuring Romanesque architecture), and the Church of Saint Theresa.
