♦ Buck Island Reef National Monument

The 176-acre island is renowned for its underwater trail, perfect for divers of varying skill levels. Go snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters to see a lively tropical life supported by the surrounding coral reef ecosystem. You can also lounge on the soft white sand at Buck Island or go for a hike nearby to get an aerial view of the sea.

♦ Cruzan Rum Distillery

What's a trip to the Caribbean without some vintage rum? Sample some of the various flavors of Cruzan Rum, which dates back to 1760, while learning more about the distilling process on a guided tour. You must be 18 years or older (the legal drinking age in St. Croix) to drink any rum, but the tour is open to guests of all ages.

♦ Point Udall

Positioned at the end of St. Croix, Point Udall signifies the easternmost point of the United States. The angled rock presents a perfect vantage point from which to admire splendid views of the island. In 2000, the Millennium Monument was constructed with a stone sundial to mark the century's first sunrise on U.S. soil. This measuring mark is still in place, making Point Udall a popular destination come sunrise.
