Also known as the Cathedral of Saint Beningus of Dion (Cathedrale Saint-Benigne de Dijon), this 14th century Gothic church is a major icon of the Burgundy region (so much that it is listed as a national monument)! This beautiful landmark features a crypt with 11th century sculptures, as well as a mosaic-tiled roof, carvings, monuments, stained glass windows, a large organ (if you’re lucky enough to visit while the organist is there, you can even enjoy his tunes).

If you’re looking to spend some quality time outdoors in Dijon, then consider stopping by Jardin Botanic de I’Arquebuse. These stunning botanical gardens feature over 4,000 species of plants from Bourgogne, France, the Mediterranean, and other areas of the world. You will also discover an arboretum, numerous greenhouses, and plenty of wildlife (including ducks, geese, and swans).
