Hello and welcome to Lauterbrunnen! Our adventure begins in this lush green town where we’ll head to our hostel. Then, we'll take a short walk to check out the scenery of cliffs & waterfalls.

Time for some hiking! After breakfast, we’ll take the cable car up the slopes and hike to Murren - a picturesque little village. Enroute back, we'll stop by to visit the jaw-dropping Trummelbach Falls & even devour a delicious packed lunch against the epic Alpine backdrop. Then, it’s back to our hostel on a bus. Mother nature sure does love Switzerland…

Wakey wakey, today we’re going to the Top of Europe! Yep. You have the option to visit the picture-perfect Jungfrau mountain. In the afternoon, you can choose to do an epic canyon swing in the mountains, or head back into town to enjoy some ground-level scenery. Afterwards, you can join us for the final dinner of this trip at a local restaurant.

* DAY 1: Trip starts in Lauterbrunnen at 16:00. The kick-start meeting starts at 16:00. Recommended flight arrival time by 13:00 to avoid missing the kick-start meeting. * DAY 4: Trip ends in Lauterbrunnen at 10:00. * TRANSFERS: Both complimentary and chargeable transfers are not offered through Contiki. Travellers should make their own way from/to the airport at their own expense.* ACCOMMODATION NOTE: Please note our multi share rooms accommodate a maximum of 4 people of the same gender. * PLEASE NOTE: This is an Active Departure with Active elements everyday. Whilst all the activities are designed for beginners, travellers should have a good level of fitness. The hike from Lauterbrunnen is approximately 15kms/ 9miles. Travellers should pack appropriate comfortable clothing for Hiking and Biking including closed in shoes. Travellers will not be permitted to hike/bike in open toed shoes/sandals/flip flops. The weight limit for the canyon swing is 125kg.* NOTE: This trip falls under DETOUR Terms & Conditions.
