2Elegance on the Adriatic
Join your Local Expert for an intimate exploration of Split’s Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the greatest surviving Roman structures. Step inside the emperor’s mausoleum, now the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, and see the Temple of Jupiter, later converted into a baptistery. After passing through the Golden Gate, board your coastal cruiser and meet your Cruise Manager. Enjoy lunch on board as you sail to Hvar. Sail north this morning towards Trogir, a small island town connected to the mainland by a 17th-century stone bridge. With origins dating back to the 3rd century B.C., Trogir is a living museum of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture. On arrival, join a guided walking tour through its UNESCO-listed old town, where you’ll explore narrow alleyways, hidden courtyards and historic landmarks including the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, noted for its 13th-century portal carved by Master Radovan. The rest of the day is yours at leisure — perhaps enjoy a harborside meal, visit the town’s small museums or explore the local market. You’ll dock overnight in Marina Baotić, giving you more time to experience Trogir's well-preserved historic center.

* DAY 1: Complimentary transfers from Split Airport (SPU) will operate per the flight information details on the first day of the trip or in conjunction with pre accommodation booked through Insight Vacations. * DAY 9: Complimentary transfers from Split port to Split Airport (SPU) or Insight Vacations post accommodation in Split operate per flight information details by Katarina Line Cruises on the last day of the trip only. It is recommended that guests do not book flights to depart before 12pm.* PORTERAGE: We have porterage the entire way, guests' bags are delivered to the ship on the morning that they embark and on the disembarkation day we have assistance from the ship's crew for the bags to be delivered to the coach.* SHIP NOTE: There are no elevators on the ship.* IMPORTANT: Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, Katarina Line ships are moored side by side, making it necessary for the guests to cross from one ship to another with gaps in between ships in order to get to the shore.
