This indicates the overall quality of the tour operator's products. A low rating does not mean it is not good - it just means that it does not include as much, or perhaps is of a more standard quality than the higher quality tours. For example, a 3 star quality rating means that it is a more standard/economical tour, while 5 stars is a very luxurious tour that often includes a lot of amenities.

Overview

This is a journey of contrasts – between lively port cities and remote fishing villages, rugged headlands and rolling vineyards, storied forts and quiet trails. But what ties it all together is the enduring sense of place and pride that defines Nova Scotia. From Halifax to Lunenburg, each day brings you deeper into the heart of the region, culminating in a farewell dinner where the week's experiences come full circle. Whether it's your first time here or a return to familiar shores, this journey invites you to explore Nova Scotia not just as a destination, but as a living story – told in the stories of its people, the rhythm of its tides, and the beauty of its coastal light. Cradled by the Atlantic and shaped by centuries of seafaring, migration, and cultural exchange, Nova Scotia is a place where history isn't confined to museums – it lives in the salt air, the rhythms of coastal life, and the warmth of its communities. From rugged cliffs to colorful harbors, this is Canada's East Coast at its most soulful, where each experience feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Through the heart of Nova Scotia to Oak Island

Today's journey carries you across the breadth of Nova Scotia, through a landscape that tells its own quiet story – of coastal villages, tidal rivers, and rolling farmland shaped by generations of settlers. After a lunch stop in the town of Truro, you'll make your way to your home for the next two nights, Oak Island. One of several islands located in Mahone Bay, Oak Island is well-known for its many rumors and theories about treasure and ancient artifacts buried beneath the island's surface. For centuries, treasure hunters, historians and adventurers have flocked to Oak Island in hopes of riches and eternal fame, only to leave empty handed time and time again. This lack of success has caused Oak Island to be one of the most fascinating unsolved mysteries in North American folklore. Tonight, check into your hotel, the Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre. The rest of the evening is yours to do as you wish, although, we don't encourage you go treasure hunting.
