3Journey to Corinth, Mycenae and Nafplion
Depart Athens this morning, crossing the mighty Corinth Canal to the wild Peloponnesian Peninsula. Arriving in Corinth, join a Local Specialist to explore an ancient city that several empires fought over throughout the centuries. Continue to Mycenae, a mighty kingdom of Ancient Greece, where you'll see the Beehive Tombs (the Treasury of Atreus), the Lion Gate and the remains of Agamemnon's Royal Palace, in the company of a Local Specialist. Guests should arrive at least 2 hours before the last transfer time. Please be aware when booking your flights.* DAY 16-17: A 1-night accommodation with breakfast is included in Athens at the end of the cruise. After guests disembark from their cruise, they will be transferred to their included Trafalgar tour hotel in Athens. Complimentary departure transfers arrive at Athen's Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) on the last day of the tour at 07:00 and 10:00.* TRANSFERS: Chargeable transfers available in Athens. Guests who have booked their extra hotel nights with Trafalgar, or whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle coach timings may purchase a chargeable transfer.
