What to Expect

The intimate National Geographic Islander carries only 48 guests, making it even easier for you to engage in one-on-one interaction time with the many National Geographic experts onboard. National Geographic Islander cruises each feature an expedition leader, four expert naturalists, a certified National Geographic photo instructor, an undersea specialist and wellness specialist. The Expedition Team is available at all times to share their vast knowledge of the Galapagos Islands with you through impromptu lectures, lessons and even over dinner. Each cruise features a nightly recap where you can hear about stories from earlier in the day as well as participate in a Q&A with an expert and learn about the next day’s plan.
