There is also an educational sea laboratory, touch tank, 360-degree shark tank, and submarine simulation ride. ♦ Saint-Malo Cathedral
Another popular attraction in Saint Malo is none other than Sant-Malo Cathedral! This beautiful church showcases Roman and Gothic-style architecture, and serves as one of France’s national monuments. Inside, you can view relics from the city’s first bishop, and a second-century martyr saint, plus an 18th century wooden pulpit, a few statues, and beautiful stained-glass windows. You will also discover the tomb of famous explorer Jacques Cartier, who is also depicted in the art of the stained-glass windows.
♦ Beach of the Mole
If you’re looking to enjoy some time at the beach in Saint Malo, consider paying a visit to Beach of the Mole. This clean, sandy beach has minimal rocks, great swimming conditions, and incredible sea views. Located south of the old city, Beach of the Mole is best known for its shelter from the city’s winds. As this beach is rather small, it’s a nice little escape, especially if you’re visiting Saint Malo during the off season!
