Viking Jupiter

Viking Jupiter was the sixth vessel to join Viking Ocean Cruises, an ocean cruise line created by the award-winning Viking River Cruises. This brand combines the best aspects of a river cruise with the superb enhancements of larger ocean liners. Since February 2019, Viking Jupiter cruises let you explore Europe, South America, and the Mediterranean. What sets this ocean ship aside from other cruise ships is that she spends late-night or overnight port stays, allowing you to truly enjoy each port of call. Combined with complimentary dining venues, all-veranda accommodations with fantastic amenities, and incredible enrichment programs, Viking Jupiter is an incredible value that you mustn’t miss out on.

Onboard Entertainment

Viking Jupiter’s complimentary excursions (one free excursion in every port of call) and enrichment programs make sailing a very culturally immersive experience. All tours are led by English-speaking guides who know the region well and can answer any of your questions. Onboard programs include:

  • Port talks;
  • Guest lectures;
  • Destination performances;
  • Craft demonstrations;
  • Wine tasting;
  • Plus, a wonderful collection of books and a heritage center.

In addition to enrichment, every Viking Jupiter cruise has some excellent entertainment:

  • Live productions, often music-related, are held in the Star Theater or Explorers' Lounge in the evening;
  • The Star Theater also has two adjoining cinemas where you can watch movies and sports games with fresh popcorn and all;
  • Outdoor entertainment includes two pools, whirlpools, a sports deck, and a terrace;
  • The Nordic Spa, where you can use the entire thermal suite free of charge, is a must-try (the thermal suite features a plunge pool, a Steam Room, a Sauna, and a Snow Grotto on top of heated and padded loungers);
  • There are numerous bars located throughout Viking Jupiter where you can order a drink and enjoy entertainment, such as live music.
